Artist's Description
A Red Pine Forest is located in the Oak Openings Preserve Metropark in Swanton Township, Ohio, as part of the Toledo Metroparks system. The Oak Openings refers to the majority of tree in the Metropark, but the are a few stands of Red Pines that were planted many years ago. This stand in particular has become a famous photography location in Oak Openings that almost every local photographer has been to. It is also noted as a Hammocking Site as well.
About Dale Kincaid
Dale Kincaid is native to the Cleveland, Ohio area. From childhood he has always had an enthusiasm for photography. "There's a special feeling that something quite magical happens with the push of a button". Beginning with a high school photography class, his first SLR camera and a couple of lenses, Dale's main interest has always been nature, landscape and close-up outdoor photography.
