Angel statues represent spirituality. They guard the tomb, guide the soul and pray for the soul. A finger pointing upward directs the living visitor to think heavenwards. A cross made from logs may be an indication the person was a Woodman and symbolize the cutting of life. This angel statue located in Lakeview Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
