The Barred Owl is the most vocal of Eastern owls. It is named after the bars on its chest. Barred owls reside along forested streams, lakes, rivers, and swamps, particularly in deep woods with big timber. They forage at night and often even during the day.

Dale Kincaid is native to the Cleveland, Ohio area. From childhood he has always had an enthusiasm for photography.
