Description
Everett Road Covered Bridge, which crosses Furnace Run in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, is the only remaining covered bridge in Ohio's Summit County. The date of construction is unknown, however, clues suggest that it was built in the 1870's. The builders of Everett Road Covered Bridge used a truss pattern patented by Robert W. Smith of Tipp City, Ohio, in 1867.
