Description
I thought this was a peculiar, and possibly one of a kind pink tulip with some green on one of the petals. Pink tulips symbolize happiness, confidence and caring. They can convey a message of encouragement to someone. The beautiful pink is a color used for Breast Cancer awareness in the month of October.

Nice bokeh in your capture Dale! It looks like you found a cousin to the "virus tulips" some of which are the famous 'parrot tulips'. If memory serves me, originally the streaks were caused by a mosaic virus and called 'broken tulips'. The virus got cleaned out but the streaks were able to be maintained through breeding. The fascinating single petal makes this a pretty, unique, and lovely collectible! V/ Pamela
